Ed Runs his 10th Challenge

I have run the Mt. Mitchell Challenge for the last three years, and turned around at the Marathon point last year due to the flu. Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Ed who is 61 years old. This would be his 10th Challenge finish. Despite drastic weather Ed came thru and crossed the finish line for the 10th time. The Charlotte Observer did a little write up about him.

I can only hope that I will be as strong, and as determined as Ed is when I am in my 60’s. Go get em Ed!
