Thunder Road Marathon - Charlotte, NC

The Thunder Road Marathon took place in my hometown of Charlotte, NC. The temperatures early in the morning were close to 18 degrees. Low 20's at the start line. I think this helped me run my fastest marathon to date, 3:37:33 PR.

The key for me running a strong race was keeping a healthy consistent pace. The positive energy from everyone cheering helped me go faster! My little brothers Mooj, Hyze, and my sister Lujain showed up at the finish. Seeing them gave me the strength to push a strong sprint to the finish line.
